ANC Gauteng Chooses Ramaphosa For Party President

His rival Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma only received 64 nominations

The African National Congress in Gauteng has chosen Cyril Ramaphosa for ANC president, EWN reported on Sunday.

Ramaphosa received 374 branch nominations while Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma only managed to receive 64 nominations.

Human Settlements Minister Lindiwe Sisulu received 182 nominations for the position of deputy president.

The Gauteng ANC is hosting its Provincial General Council ahead of the national elective conference this month.
