Sfiso Atomza, birth name Sifiso Buthelezi is a 27 year old Musician, Social Critic, Writer, Struggling Philosopher and musician who hails from the Tsakane township on the Ekurhuleni side of Johannesburg. He graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a BA Communications degree majoring in Sociology and Corporate Communications.

A lover of Humans, A full time producer and consumer of the arts, He has travelled quite a few parts of planet earth with music and activism as his passport. A keen ear and mind for detail, his musical journey has always been more about the words than the music. He has long had a passion for stories and literature and has this haunting desire to publish a book before he expires. In the meantime he started “Working Class Celebrity” an experimental blog exploring different writing styles, and an unconventional use of the English language and punctuation. He has worked as a freelance Copy writer for websites, press relations and presentations for Clients such as Castle Milk Stout, Chivas South Africa, The Muffinz, Black Smoke Digital Agency and various other establishments. He has written a speech for a South African Ambassador to Algeria, Hon. Sam Kotane. During the 20 year Anniversary of South Africa’s Democracy. He was part of the writing team responsible for idols winner Khaya Mthetwa’s debut single and album. Some of his prose has been published both Online and Printed in anthologies and publications such as Kalahari Review, Culture Review and Conté Magazine.

He continues to write words, perform, sing and play guitar regularly. He currently helps manage Stop Sign Art Gallery with Zama Phakathi. He does PR and Marketing for Conte Magazine, an African Creative portfolio platform. All this while being a father, lover, guitarist, Songwriter and vocalist for The Muffinz, one of South Africa’s most budding music exports, an all singing, all instrument playing 5 man World band commercialising conscious.

He prides himself on being a vocalist who speaks more as an activist commentating and finding solutions to problems in his immediate and extended surroundings.
