South African comedian and host of "The Daily Show" Trevor Noah joined U.S. President Barack Obama in the White House for an exclusive hour-long interview on Monday night. In a segment posted on Twitter by "The Daily Show," we see Noah share a light-hearted moment with Obama, who is nearing the end of his second term in office, before discussing topics including Obamacare, U.S. relations with Russia and how Obama handles critical conversations about race as a black president.

"In that environment where you're not talking necessarily about cut and dried racist behaviour, but rather about the complex ways in which society is working these issues through, trying to reach folks in ways that they can hear, I think, is important," said Obama.

In another segment from the show, which was uploaded by a YouTube user on Monday, Obama spoke about the hacking of Democratic and Republican National Committee emails and the impact it had on the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election.

The episode will be broadcast on Comedy Central (DSTv channel 122) at 9pm on Tuesday, 13 December 2016.
