The Super Bowl 2017 Ads Are Different -- And More Important Than Ever

Commercials during Super Bowl LI celebrated the beauty of America’s diversity.

The Super Bowl is an annual U.S. championship game of the National Football League -- the highest level of professional American football. Each year, the Super Bowl game is the climax to end off the season that begins in the late summer of the previous year.

Super Bowl advertising has become a cultural phenomenon. Many people only only watch the game to see the adverts of international branding giants. The Super Bowl adverts are iconic in the U.S. for being the nation's best showcase of advertising brilliance in cinematographic quality, humour, political commentary and of special effects. As was expected, this year's Super Bowl adverts were almost exclusively centred on the outrage over U.S. President Donald Trump's contentious policies on climate change, homosexuals, abortion and Islam.
