Ayesha Fakie joined the IJR team as programme head in for Sustained Dialogues. She has developed her skills in leadership, programme management, M&E, strategy, fundraising and stakeholder management over her 16-year career in higher education, both public and private. She holds a MCom in Organisational Psychology (UCT) and has published and continues to co-author academic papers on systemic education issues in South Africa. She is passionate about examining the sometimes unconscious privileges we bring as a way to build bridges and deepen understanding of lived experiences across societal intersections.
